Love for bikes are back...

It was 5 years since I stopped cycling and I never thought it was coming back. The more I ride the more I am liking it. Every child about to buy a cycle for the first time feels excited seeing the cycles on road and starts dreaming about possessing the same. To a certain extend I feel the same when I see my dream bikes on road.


Going back five months, by roomate decided to buy a cycle to commute to office. He told me about the guys in his office who have bikes worth Rs.6000 and I warned him not to shell out that much amount on something like a cycle (haha). We went to the shop and on the way itself I started thinking why not buy a cycle myself :). And we were back from shop with two cycles, one Hero 6speed and one Herucles Ultima 6speed (mine).

We cycled all the way back to our house, around 12kms. From the next day I started cycling to office (6.5kms one way)and it has continued till this day increasing my love for cycle day by day. In between I bought one LED head lamp for Rs.500 and bike helmet for Rs.800. Today I have started feeling that I have squeezed out all the fun my current bike can offer. Just sitting back and dreaming about the new bike I am going to buy, Trek 3700 (Rs.17000 as of now). I am just wondering how quickly my thoughts have changed about cycling. I happened to be in the group who would ask "Are you mad to shell out so much on a cycle?" sarcastically. My roomate who bought bike with me doesn't seem to have develped much love for cycling and he asked me back the same question yesterday...haha..But then I think, this is one thing I have started liking in my life and why the hell should I not do what I like?
